Pit Bull Terrier - Joy - Medium - Young - Female - Dog
Joy was a stray who came into Animal Control in Missoula in November. She was a great girl with the other dogs initially, but she's become anxious and very unhappy with the shelter environment. She doesn't "show well" for people who visit to adopt because she is fearful and aggressive toward the other dogs as she passes their cages. Again, this is a new behavior and is not unusual for higer energy dogs in close quarters with other canines. When Joy goes on a walk away from the shelter, she's a relaxed and happy girl. She loves people and she is very playful, both in her interactions with others and with her toys. Space is tight at Animal Control and Joy is running short on time.
